Our project - Let me grow

project logo

After two years of working together with partners from 9 countries - a Bulgarian, English, German, Italian, Irish, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish and Polish school took part - our project ended in september 2011.

Using an apple tree as theme we wanted to show children how they can grow from their family and community roots to become responsible citizens of Europe and wider world. We gave them knowledge and skills to do this, develop positive attitudes and respect.

On this website you find many results of our common work. Feel free to browse through and enjoy it.

Comenius

Life Long LearningThe Comenius programme focuses on the first phase of education, from pre-school and primary to secondary schools. It is relevant for all members of the education community: pupils, teachers, local authorities, parents’ associations, non-government organisations, teacher training institutes, universities and all other educational staff.

Part of the Lifelong Learning Programme, Comenius seeks to develop knowledge and understanding among young people and educational staff of the diversity of European cultures, languages and values. It helps young people acquire the basic life skills and competences necessary for their personal development, for future employment and for active citizenship.

You can find more information on the Lifelong Learning Programme and Comenius on the following website of the European Commission.
